For decades many Conservatives have believed that the founder of Planned Parenthood was a racist whose main concern was eliminating black children , due to the constant rhetoric and propaganda fed to them by right-wing media. It became more prominent during the last eight years with the Planned Parenthood smear videos produced by the likes of James O’Keefe , and The Center For American Progress. They are so certain that a zygote , an undeveloped fetus without a nervous system , should be given the same rights as a fully developed human being , that human life begins at conception , that aborting an egg , or a mass of cells , should be considered a crime.
The radical right , which has always claimed to be for small government , has since the inception of Roe vs Wade , portrayed Planned Parenthood and its supporters as cohorts in mass genocide , and with the willing aid of their representatives in Congress , and smear campaigns , they have managed to convince a number of idiots Conservatives that PP’s sole purpose is to eradicate black children because its founder was an evil racist , and therefore should be defunded.
Their condemnation of Planned Parenthood is , at best , hypocritical , in light of their enthusiastic and radical support for the NRA , an organization which once upon a time supported reasonable gun control , but which has during the last couple of decades , and especially during the Obama years , become one of the most radical , extreme groups in America , stoking fear and racism , that a black president is coming for their guns , in order to dramatically increase profits. Even when a mass shooting occurred , they blamed everyone who wanted even the most moderate gun control – including Obama , Democrats , and liberals – but the shooter. Obama , liberals , Democrats , and gun control groups ( the real extremists according to the NRA ) became the culprits , the enemies , the threat , the danger that must be opposed , not the slaughter of innocent children. The only concern they displayed were their prayers and platitudes , all the while claiming gun control doesn’t work , that their second amendment rights were under attack , showing no concern for the slaughter of human life. Ironically , something they’ve always accused pro-choicer’s of.
So , yes , the NRA , at least it’s leadership , are indeed evil , because they’ve proven that they care more about profit , over human life. By Liberal Logic’s logic , if Planned Parenthood and their supporters are guilty of murder , then the leadership of the NRA , and its rabid supporters , must also be guilty of murder.
