Russia has accused the Ukraine of intimidating them with “terrorist drone attacks.”
According to Russian authorities, at least eight armed drones struck the Moscow region on Tuesday, targeting and damaging several buildings.
The Russian Defense Ministry claims that five drones were shot down, and the others were “electronically jammed,” rendering them harmless.
White House Press Secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre said Tuesday, “We do not support attacks inside of Russia. We’ve been very clear about that. We have been focused on providing Ukraine the equipment and training they need to retake their own sovereign territory. And that’s exactly what we’ve done for the past year now.”
Putin said, “This is clearly a sign of terrorist activity.”
Apparently, Putin has no concept of irony. A terrorist himself who invaded a sovereign nation, who’s forces have intimidated, tortured and murdered civilians, including children for more than a year now. But he’s the victim in this situation and Ukraine is the terrorist.
