If you’re familiar with Smucker Carlson and can admit that he is America’s premiere propagandist, conspiracy theorist, and race baiter, then you’re among the sane. On the other hand, if you believe everything he says is written in stone… well, you’re exactly the type of person he hopes is enough of a sucker to keep him relevant. And there are plenty of people who fall into that latter category.
Via Media Matters:
From the January 22 edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Smucker Carlson: "So, Joy Reid is accusing us of racism. Let's pause for a moment and savor the irony of that. Try to watch her show for 20 minutes, and see for yourself."
Let’s pause for a moment to savor the sweet irony. Why would the “race lady” as he has referred to Reid, accuse Smucker of race baiting? Why would anybody in their right mind accuse Smucker of race baiting? It’s absurd! It’s ridiculous! Smucker loves people of all races. He just believes undocumented immigrants are “plundering the U.S. and want to steal America’s wealth”:
“The American pinata has been getting pummeled for decades and now it has finally come apart. Our national wealth is up for grabs by whomever gets here first – and they are coming. Over just the past year, 1% of the entire population of Guatemala has moved to the United States.”
That immigrants make the U.S. poorer and dirtier:
“Our leaders demand that you shut up and accept this. We have a moral obligation to admit the world’s poor, they tell us, even if it makes our country poorer, dirtier and more divided.
That undocumented immigrants are polluting the Potomac and all of America:
“It has gotten dirtier, and dirtier and dirtier. I go down there, and that litter is left almost exclusively by immigrants. I’m there. I watch it.”
That the Democrats want to deliberately change the demographics of America with undocumented immigrants in order to vote for them:
“I know the left and all the little gatekeepers on Twitter become literally hysterical if you use the term “replacement,” if you suggest that the Democratic party is trying to replace the current electorate ( he means white voter ), the voters now casting ballots, with new people, more obedient voters from the third world. But they become hysterical because that’s what’s happening actually. Let’s just say it: That’s true ( instead of something he made up )… if you change the population, you dilute the political power of the people who live there. So, every time they import a new voter, I become disenfranchised as a current voter ( ??? ). I don’t understand why everyone wants to make a racial issue out of it. You know, the white replacement theory? No, no, no, this is a voting rights issue. I have less political power because they’re importing a brand new electorate ( ??? ).”
When Smucker tells his audience that immigration will be the death of western civilization, that the Democratic party has “an open border” policy, that their intent is to import millions of illegals to gain a new electorate, he’s just giving them the cold hard facts that everyone else – including him – are not allowed to talk about. They’re trying to silence and censor him, and anybody else who is brave enough to tell the truth… and yet, somehow they never do get censored or silenced, but that doesn’t stop them from bitching and moaning about it non-stop.
When Smucker told Alex Jones in 2015 when speaking of Obama, who never categorized anyone by race “they categorize people by race in a way that, you know, you can’t even imagine – 30 years ago you would have said, ‘Wait a second, that sounds like Nazi stuff.’ It’s not Smucker who is actually categorizing people by race… it’s his critics. Why would anyone dare accuse him of making anything about race? It was Obama who made everything about race simply for having the audacity of being a black president.
When Smucker told his audience in 2019 – after the El Paso, Texas shooter, Patrick Crusius wrote in a manifesto that his motivation was “in response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas” – that the shooting had nothing to do with “invasion” rhetoric from the likes of Smucker himself and that White supremacy was a hoax and a conspiracy theory perpetrated by the Democrats and the “liberal media” to keep a hold on political power… well, again, he was just saying what everybody was thinking, but we’re afraid to say out loud, because liberals have a strangle-hold on the media, academics, the courts, and every institution in America, and are censoring and cancelling all conservative opinion and thought.
"So, when Joy Reid accuses you of harboring racist thoughts, trust me, it's projection. But it's also a political tactic. Reid can't explain why this country so badly needs to import millions of additional poor people. Nobody on the left can explain that, because there's no real answer, so they attempt to short-circuit the conversation with slurs.
When Reid – or anyone else – accuses Smuckers of harboring racist thoughts, it’s not projection. It’s common sense. She doesn’t have to make up absurd conspiracy theories about Democrats opening hundreds of miles of border wall to allow illegals to waltz across by the millions because they’re eager to replace white people as voters. Allowing refugees to seek asylum – whether it be from poverty, the effects of climate change, or fear of persecution – is a virtue America is built upon.
When he’s not fear-mongering about the vaccines or masks being attempts by the “socialist” Joe Biden administration to exert authoritarian control over America, he’s reminding the rubes how anti-American the left is, and how immigration is replacing the white race to create millions of new voters for the Democrats – a white replacement conspiracy theory – to claiming that BLM is fomenting a race war every time they protest police violence – Tucker is there to assure his audience that it’s black and brown people who are the actual racists, and the drooling 50 I.Q. rubes who watch him, are the real victims.
It’s a tried and true tactic conservatives have been using for decades. If you can’t see that the Democrats are conspiring to import millions of foreign illegal voters to add to their voting rolls to replace you, the white voter, and if you dare accuse conservatives of being racist for believing that… well, then , you’re the racist. And your only response is to short-circuit the conversation with false accusations of racism.
Joy Reid may have her own issues, but when it comes to race and conspiracy baiting, there is no comparison between the two. Tucker Carlson metaphorically wears a white hood. If someone offered him an actual white hood, I have no doubt he wouldn’t hesitate to put it on.
Charlie Kirk has had the last laugh. For years, Turning Point USA’s founder and executive director, has been owning the libs in spectacular fashion, just as he did when he put on his first pair of Pampers to own the smug libs in 2017, who were crying for a safe space on the campus of Kent State University because they’re such crybabies.
Kirk, a young leader in the “America First” conservative movement, has been touring America’s college campuses with other leaders in the movement, like Dana Loesch, and Tomi Lahren, warning young conservatives of the dangers of the culture wars perpetuated by liberals who want to ban their free speech, just as they banned Mr. Potato Head, Dr. Seuss, Confederate statues, and then shove CRT and the 1619 Project up their rear ends.
In 2018, Kirk tweeted that when Obama was elected, they didn’t cry and burn stuff down, they waited patiently for eight years, acting absolutely civil toward the new president, showing him the utmost respect that liberals refused to show Trump.
This time, Kirk – always the truth-teller – reminds us that the summer protests over the unlawful killing of George Floyd, were really out of control riots by Black Lives Matter and Antifa, who just can’t help but resort to violence when they can’t get their way, as opposed to Trump supporters who descended on the D.C. Capitol for a picnic, or a tour, to calmly convince the Senate that they were wrong to certify the electoral votes for Biden, and should, instead, declare Trump the winner.
“It really had nothing to do with president Trump’s “stop the steal” rhetoric,” Charlie told the Weekly Journal News. “It was all Sleepy Joe’s fault, and George Soros, and Hugo Chavez, Antifa and maybe even Mickey Mouse. Who knows who else was in on it? Casper The Friendly Ghost? That’s not so unbelievable, you know, since it’s been proven that Hugo Chavez had a hand in it. Who else could have been involved? Fat Albert and the Cosby Kids? Alvin and the Chipmunks? Maybe even E.T. for all we know. We’ll never know because the snowflake liberal judges wouldn’t allow any evidence to be presented.”
“And those people who were carrying a gallows chanting to hang the vice president, and the people who were beating up on cops and breaking into the building and defecating? They weren’t Trump supporters. They were Antifa, and Black Lives Matter, or both – trying to make Trump and his supporters look bad. Laura Ingraham and Sean Hannity reported on it. Trump would never condone anything like that, and neither would Trump supporters. But Black Lives Matter and Antifa would. They’re all terrorists. They run around rioting and looting and beating and defecating and burning down American cities every day. I’m surprised there are any cities left standing in America.”
Kirk stood up, yanked his pants down, revealing a pair of adult Pampers – his signature brand – with baby duckies on them, and released a large, rather disgusting expulsion of gas. He then grinned and said, “Checkmate, libtards!”
It should be noted that that when Trump failed to win the election of 2020, conservatives didn’t burn stuff down. But they did cry, and they violently destroyed property, assaulted people – killing several, just as they did during the BLM protests – and used certain parts of the Capitol as makeshift toilets.
Donald Trump has called on his Make America Great Again supporters to “cancel” baseball after the MLB has had the testicles to grow a pair of balls. The decision to move the game from Atlanta was made due to the outcry over the controversial voting bill Governor Brian Kemp recently signed into law. Several Atlanta-based companies – including Coca-Cola, and Delta Airlines – have been critical of the new bill.
Democrats claim the bill is restrictive, while Republicans claim it provides expanded access to voting.
The MLB commissioner, Robert Manfred Jr, announced Friday on a Twitter post that both the All-Star game and the subsequent draft would be moved from Atlanta.
Former president Trump, who has had difficulty with transparency – often while accusing his opponents of lacking transparency – “let the cat out of the bag” when he responded to the commissioner’s statement with his own statement via Save America PAC.
“With an attitude like that, it’s no wonder that baseball is losing tremendous numbers of fans,” Trump said, apparently unaware that a tremendous number of those fans were lost due to COVID restrictions, none of which he had anything to do with. “And now they’re moving their stadium with their All-Star game because they’re afraid of the Radical Left Democrats who do not want voter ( suppression ), which is desperately needed ( if we are to ever win another election ).
“Cancel baseball – like they cancelled us – and all of the woke companies that are interfering with Free and Fair elections ( by suppressing our right to suppress the vote of undocumented immigrants, Antifa and Black Lives Matter ). Are you listening Coke, Delta, and all! ( We don’t want to suppress anyone’s vote. Just the votes of the Radical Left who want everyone to vote. If we allowed everyone to vote, Antifa would burn down entire cities and incite riots and Black Lives Matter would march down our city streets chanting, ‘Republicans in a blanket, fry ’em like bacon.’ That’s why Governor Kemp wrote the new legislation. It has absolutely nothing to do with voter suppression.”
When asked for comment about the former president’s statement, Governor Kemp responded, “President Trump is right. That’s exactly why I wrote the bill. It has nothing to do with voter suppression.”
Did the media desperately try to pin QAnon to Donald Trump? Or did he, in fact, endorse them? Is the media being dishonest or are they telling the truth in this particular case? Is Dana Loesch right, or full of shit? Let’s look at the evidence.
For the record, let it be known that Dana Loesch doesn’t know much about the QAnon movement. In fact, she doesn’t know much about anything she talks about.
She doesn’t know that for the entire four years of Trump’s only term, they completely and enthusiastically endorsed him. She knows nothing about the thousands of Q enthusiasts who love Donald Trump so much, many of who have shown up as his rallies dressed in Q clothing, carrying Q signs, shouting Q conspiracies. But none of this means anything, since they have no connection to Trump.
She knows nothing of the dozens of failed predictions involving the enemies of Donald Trump – all of them Democrats, by the way – our greatest American president, and how he would heroically expose and vanquish them all on the day of reckoning known as “The Storm.”
She knows none this. But you can bet your ass she knows “that they aren’t the ones in the streets burning down buildings, punching people in the head ( ?? ), burning down houses and blocking first responders from rescuing the trapped children” ( ?? ) – here she links to a fake news article – “or mass-squatting on multiple city blocks ( peaceful protesting is a bad thing in her view, as long as it involves BLM ).”
She also knows that the media “has been fine to give Democrats a pass when the party refuses to condemn the violence but they’re intent on pinning QAnon on Trump.” ( Here she links to a Breitbart article to prove her point, but the article fails to prove her point that Democrats refuse to condemn Antifa ).
“Trump literally says he “doesn’t know much about the movement,” Dana argues, “after quippingthat he hears they like him and instead of accurately reporting Trump’s remarks, CNN sensationalizes it with “Trump embraces.”
Trump literally says he doesn’t know much about the movement, she argues, and so we’re supposed to believe it.
“The left and their media surrogates realize how damaging Antifa violence has been to their image ( ?? ) and so are trying to create something similar for which they can attack the GOP… except there isn’t anything similar.
“Ask me again why I question legacy media.”
Alright, let’s Examine Trump’s remarks to determine if CNN was just sensationalizing and deliberately taking his words out of context to “make him look bad.”
During an August 2020 press briefing, Trump was asked about QAnon. He had this to say:
“I don’t know much about the movement, other than I understand they like me very much, which I appreciate. I’ve heard that it’s gaining in popularity. And I’ve heard these are people who love our country and they just don’t like seeing it ( destroyed ).”
When asked if he believed the conspiracy theory that he “is secretly saving the world from this satanic cult of pedophiles and cannibals,” Trump replied: “I haven’t heard that, but is that supposed to be a good thing or a bad thing? If I can help save the world from problems, I’m willing to do it. I’m willing to put myself out there. And we are actually, we’re saving the world from a radical left philosophy that will destroy this country.”
This was taken from the CNN website. For someone who didn’t know much about QAnon, he sure knew enough about them to offer his opinion about how great they were. He very clearly praised them, which sounds like an endorsement to me. He certainly did not denounce or condemn them.
And during the October 15, NBC televised town hall, when Savannah Guthrie asked him if he would denounce QAnon as false, he couldn’t do it. Instead, he denounced and condemned Antifa. Of course he did.
“So, I know nothing about QAnon. I know very little. You told me, yes. What you told me doesn’t necessarily make it fact. I hate to say that. I know nothing about it. I do know they are very much against pedophilia. They fight it very hard. But I know nothing about it. I’ll tell you what I do know, I know about Antifa and the radical left. I just don’t know about QAnon.”
Again, he knew nothing about QAnon, but he knew they are against pedophilia, and they love him and see him as their savior who will save the world. He couldn’t bring himself to denounce them, their rhetoric or their violence. Instead, he side-stepped the issue as he always did when asked do disavow white supremacy, by denouncing Antifa, and asking why Sleepy Joe refused to denounce and condemn them.
So, did CNN inaccurately report Trump’s remarks to “sensationalize” them as “embracing?” No, they did not. CNN accurately reported everything he said when asked about QAnon. They did not sensationalize or “spin” his remarks to suit their narrative. He praised them after claiming he knew nothing about them, saying they loved him, which he appreciated, so Dana’s argument that CNN sensationalized his remarks to claim he endorsed them, is itself inaccurate. One doesn’t have to say “endorse” as a way of approving of someone’s support. QAnon endorses Trump. Trump said he “heard they loved” him, and he said he “appreciated it.” That’s as close to an endorsement as you’re going to get.
But Loesch didn’t agree. She’s an expert on the word endorsement. Trump had to say the word to make it definitive.
After his Town Hall remarks, a QAnon account tweeted its appreciation in return:
Dana would ignore that too, and pretend Trump has no connection to QAnon.
My verdict on this claim: Bullshit. Trump came as close to endorsing QAnon as he possibly could.
Next, let’s examine Dana’s claims that “Antifa violence has been damaging to the left and their media surrogates, and the media has been fine to give Democrats a pass when the party refuses to condemn the violence, but they’re intent on pinning QAnon on Trump.”
Recently a meme posted to Facebook made the claim that “not a single Democrat has condemned violence linked to BLM and Antifa: “Not a single Democrat has condemned or called for an end of the BLM and Antifa caused violence,” the post read. “They are aiding and abetting mass violence across the country.”
When a MAGA supporter goes on a shooting spree influenced by violent rhetoric from right-wing media pundits and conservative politicians like Donald Trump, it’s never their fault, they’re never culpable. Right media and the Republican party and its politicians cannot be held accountable. Neither were they culpable in the Capitol riot. Antifa was really behind it, so it’s really the let’s fault. Don’t you dare blame Donald Trump, the politicians or the media pundits who played along with his false narrative of election fraud!
However, when property damage occurs during a protest as a result of police violence, law enforcement is never held to account by right media, and the Republican party. It’s always the fault of the victim, the left, Democrats and the so-called liberal media.
Now to Dana’s claim that the left and their media surrogates realize how damaging Antifa violence has been to their image and are trying to create something similar with which to attack the GOP.
Here she seems to be suggesting that so-called left media – MSNBC and CNN – both center-right corporate news network’s – have some kind of love affair with a small rabble of communists, socialists, and anarchists, and thereby supports it wholly and enthusiastically. First of all, MSNBC and CNN are capitalist, corporate owned network’s, as are Fox News. The accusation that they are both hyper-partisan, far left – Communist News Network, as some idiots have labeled it – outlets, is laughable. Most of the journalists, pundits and commentators at these two networks are conservatives and neo-liberal Democrats that have far more in common with Republicans in terms of policy, than so-called socialists like Bernie Sanders and AOC.
Conservatives have been desperate to tie Antifa with the so-called liberal media and the Democratic party – even going so far as to claim they are the military wing of the party – since anti-fascist protesters demonstrated against Milo Yiannapolous at Berkely several years ago. But Antifa, at least the type that Fox News loves to fear-monger about, are nothing more than anti-fascist protesters that show up at right-wing events like Charlottesville, which conservatives have blown up into an evil, anti-American movement of millions of “terrorists” who are rampaging through the streets randomly assaulting thousands of innocent people, and are really fascists themselves. So this claim that Antifa is damaging to the Democratic party because they won’t condemn the violence – which they have – is also bullshit.
No news network is more obsessed with Antifa than Fox News. All one had to do was tune into Fox News during the summer protests to find them obsessively fear-mongering about so-called Antifa terrorists instigating the “riots.” But in reality, Federal authorities have found virtually no evidence that Antifa instigated the BLM protests. But that has never stopped conservatives from making that claim, without evidence.
I would argue that hyping the threat of Antifa has been more damaging to not only the image, but the reputation of right-wing media. Antifa, as insignificant as it is, has no love for Sleepy Joe and the Democratic party. The Democratic party has no love for them. Antifa has never been seen carrying signs favoring the Democrats. They are anti-capitalists. And the Democrats have never praised Antifa, so the obsession of linking “Antifa” with the Democratic party, is disingenuous and laughable.
As for her charge that the “left is trying to create something similar” to Antifa “to attack the GOP, except there isn’t anything similar.”
All of these incidents, one could argue, were either inspired by the rhetoric of Donald Trump, Republican politicians, and or Right-wing media pundits. For months leading up to the El Paso, Texas shooting, Fox News hosts and Republicans complained of an “invasion” of migrants. It’s no secret that most of the Fox News hosts and the GOP are xenophobic and have never been shy about reminding their viewers and voting base that immigrants are filthy invading criminals who want to steal their jobs and commit crimes. It’s no surprise that someone took their rhetoric seriously and did something about it. The left has never had any reason to try to create anything similar to Antifa. Trump’s supporters have been worse than anything conservatives could dream up about the left. Among his voting base were white nationalists and hardcore Nazis who unabashedly showed up to many of his rally with their racist flags and symbols, and some of them carried out acts of domestic terrorism in his name. Charlottesville was the start of it.
There has never been anything similar on the left or among the Democrats. No one ever showed up to an Obama speech or rally when he was president, proudly waiving a Communist flag. But that didn’t stop Republicans from calling him a far left radical every chance they could. And none of his supporters were enthusiastic enough to pick up an assault weapon and massacre a mosque full of Muslims, as a result of his rhetoric, which was never violent, or racial.
So, her claim that Democrats and the media have given the party a pass for “refusing to condemn the violence,” and trying to create a boogeyman similar to Antifa… is hogwash. If anyone has been given a free pass, it is right-wing media, including Dana Loesch, in refusing to condemn and call out the violent racial rhetoric of Donald Trump and Republicans.
And since the incident at the Capitol, does Dana really have any right to complain that the left is more violent than the right? I think not. After four years of simping for Trump, defending every embarrassing thing he said and did, her constant whining about the media being Obama’s personal lapdog, was not only hilarious, but downright embarrassing. But this woman is incapable of feeling embarrassment about her bootlicking for Trump and the GOP.
In conclusion, Dana asks her readers why she questions the “legacy media.” The answer is simple: because the MSM – MSNBC and CNN – that she and others constantly criticize as biased against conservatives, is not another Fox News, is not 100% biased toward conservatives. It doesn’t mirror her view of reality, it has the audacity to fact check conservative lies and misinformation.
So, was the media desperate to pin QAnon to Trump? No. QAnon has signal boosted their support for Trump, even including him in their ridiculous conspiracy theories, and even though Trump has never – that I know of – officially endorsed their support, neither has he ever disavowed them. QAnon was tied or pinned to Trump during his tenure. Its members and followers showed up at his speeches and rallies with their Q flags and symbols. He couldn’t get more “pinned” than that. The media had no need to try and pin them to Trump. By refusing to disavow them, he pinned himself to them.
My verdict. Dana Loesch is full of shit, and it’s a shame she will never realize it.
Katie Pavlich is a smug, disingenuous hack who has been pushing her brand of partisan, fact-free garbage for years over at Fox News and Townhall. She is a self-professed race expert who knows that Black Lives Matter is based on a false premise because according to conservatives like her – who can’t possibly be racist, since America once elected a black president, and was also the first country to abolish slavery – black on black crime is the real problem, not police brutality.
On the January 07, Fox News The Five, Pavlich said the Democrats are gaslighting with their version of the Federal response to the Capitol Hill riot vs the BLM protests during the Summer of 2020. Right-wing media pundits have ironically accused the so-called liberal media of gaslighting, when they themselves have engaged in non-stop propaganda to gaslight the public’s perception of BLM. They’ve been doing so since day one of the movement.
“Joe Biden, you know, just tweeted that if this was a Black Lives Matter mob, we all know it would be different. I don’t even know what that means, but the fact is they are now gaslighting. Because Kamala Harris today or yesterday came out and said that while we were gassing peaceful protesters, and completely ignoring the fact that the day they were moved out of Lafayette park, it was the day after a church was burned, and there were so many rioters outside of the White House trying to storm the White House trying to get to the president that he had to be removed from the White House and put into the bunker.”
Joe Biden was mentioning the possibility that if the MAGA Rioters at the Capitol had been BLM, they would have been met with the same force they were met with last summer. They never would have been allowed to get inside the building and ransack it. Pavlich knows damn well what it means. Like any other Republican, Pavlich has no interest in honesty or truth. It doesn’t pay well. It doesn’t get the clicks. It doesn’t get the views. It doesn’t get the funding of oil billionaires like the Wilkes brothers, or the Mercer Foundation, and the Koch Foundation. Propaganda sells. She knows it. Every conservative pundit knows it.
She also knows that the protesters were peaceful and never attempted to storm the White House to try to “get to the president.” They were far from the White House behind a fenced barrier with the police in riot gear on the other side, so there was no chance of any of them reaching the White House. If they did, they would have been stopped.
“And there were sixty secret service agents that were injured. So this idea how that there is one side that immediately came out and condemned it and that was conservatives on the right. But then the left is still holding onto this idea that there was not only not violence, but they’re still approving of these organizations that did burn cities, that did engage in rioting, and they’re acting like it didn’t happen. You can’t move forward and unite the country if you’re not going to acknowledge that this happened.”
I’m not clear if she’s saying conservatives condemned the Capitol riot or the BLM protests. If she was talking about the Capitol, then she’s not being entirely truthful. It may have been condemned by a few conservative pundits, but others – as is their habit, like Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, and Lou Dobbs – played the conservative victim card to full effect, convincing their viewers that it was really Antifa trying to make Trump supporters look bad, and the rubes fell for it.
What Steve Doocy said on Fox And Friends
“Of the people who gathered there yesterday, ninety-nine percent were peaceful.” He said they were merely “frustrated.”
“They were there to support the president of the United States, defend our republic and stand up and say, ‘I just want a fair shake.’ It manifested differently at the Capitol, but that doesn’t mean you should condemn the entire thing.”
You can’t condemn the “entire thing” because they were just “frustrated” that Trump lost, so it’s understandably justified, whereas the previous BLM protests were all violent, and none of them were peaceful; all they did was riot and loot – as Fox News hosts constantly reminded the rubes – and before there can be any unity, the left needs to acknowledge that, and stop pretending that Black Lives Matter is “peaceful,” and stop pretending they were treated differently, stop denying that they were “coddled” and admit that they were allowed to run rampant across the country burning cities to the ground, and assaulting police officers who just stood by and watched as entire cities burned down and were completely overwhelmed and outnumbered, just as they were at the Capitol, and those spinless Democratic mayors wouldn’t let them do anything anyway.
Pay no attention to the role that the police played in instigating those protests/riots – Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, Jacob Blake – or the violence and brutality they caused, and pay no attention to the BLM protesters that were murdered by Kyle Rittenhouse, and others. It was all Black Lives Matter, and Antifa instigated the whole thing.
And that “protest” at the Capitol that got out of hand? Antifa instigated that too. It had absolutely nothing to do with Donald Trump’s rhetoric of a stolen, fraudulent election – and you certainly can’t hold Sean Hannity, Laura Ingraham, or Greg Kelly – and others – all of whom willingly repeated that rhetoric, accountable. They were just “frustrated” too. And until Joe Biden, the Democrats, and the entire left can acknowledge that everything is their fault, stop gaslighting, and “denounce and condemn” BLM – a movement that wants to end systemic racism and police violence – we’ll never be able to heal, join hands, sing Kumbaya and pretend that everything is peachy keen.
Since the formation of Black Lives Matter, it has evoked a hysterical, ridiculous and racist response from the totally not racist Republican party, it’s media apparatus, and it’s base of voters.
Black Lives Matter got its start with the hashtag #BlackLivesMatter after George Zimmerman was aquitted in the death of Trayvon Martin. The movement has protested the unjustified killings of African Americans in the custody of law enforcement. Protests have occured in Ferguson, Missouri after the death of Micheal Brown. Protests have also occured in Dallas, Texas over the killings of Alton Sterling and Philando Castille. During these protests, five Dallas police officers were ambushed and killed by black nationalist, Micah Johnson. His motive for the murders were the unjust killings of black Americans by law enforcement. Despite his motive being quite clear, his actions were blamed on Black Lives Matter and Barack Obama – with no evidence – because both had been critical of police tactics when dealing with black communities. Johnson had no connection to BLM, but that didn’t stop conservative media from inventing that connection.
The movement has faced a backlash of racism and hatred from a variety of smears and false allegations to paint the movement as a racist hate group comparable to the KKK, that promotes violence against law enforcement. In its infancy the movement wasn’t very popular, due mainly to blatant conservative misinformation about its motives. But after the death of George Floyd, which set off massive world-wide protests, its popularity has risen, despite mainstream conservative media’s continuing efforts to discredit the movement as anti-American.
On the September 08 edition of the Dennis Prager radio show, as the summer protests were raging across America, one of the greatest intellects of all time, compared Black Lives Matter to the KKK. Prager is not the first conservative so-called intellect to make such an insanely stupid comparison. Other self-described intellects like Mark Levin, Charlie Kirk, and Tomi Lahren have also made the analogy.
“There is no escape. Remember, the left is totalitarian. I’ve said it all my life, most people think I’ve engaged in hyperbole. Maybe now you realize that is literally accurate. All leftists are totalitarian. Liberals are not, conservatives are not, leftists are. Our control must be total. You cannot escape leftism. Not even on an American airlines flight, that little bubble in the air. Why don’t they just rename it left-wing airlines?”
He was upset that United Airlines had the audacity to allow their flight attendants wear BLM lapel pins to show solidarity if they chose to. How dare they!? God forbid they offend the feelings of a totally not racist guy like Dennis Prager.
“You are not welcome if you consider police lives valuable. You are not welcome if you know that BLM is a despicable, fascist group. Why can’t people say that? It is so obvious. Do you see what they do in almost every city? Now Rochester and Pittsburgh. The other was Washington D.C.. They scream and curse people, white people, who are having dinner because they’re white. And they’re not a racist organization? It’s the most racist organization in the country outside of the Ku Klux Klan. It’s just beyond belief. The fact that there are many whites in it doesn’t make it non-racist. These sick people that join it. Angry, sick people.”
It’s not that they don’t consider police lives valuable. Police lives are valued over black lives. Most reasonable people know this to be true. To the criminal justice system, black lives are valued less. That’s not fake news, that’s not propaganda, that’s not a libtard lie. That’s just fact.
Pseudo-intellectuals like Dennis Prager will excuse it, ignore it, or deny it. He’s not interested in reality. He’s not interested in factual evidence that contradicts his biases. He’s not interested in truth. He’s interested in spreading whatever garbage he gets paid to spread by the billionaires who fund him. As long as he gets paid to spread racist BS about black culture and BLM, he will gladly do so as long as he gets paid the big bucks to do it.
Dennis Prager clearly considers police lives valuable. He’s made that quite clear in his sycophantic support of authority, so it’s ironic that he would accuse the left of being authoritarian, when right-wing conservatives like himself bend the knee to actual authoritative, totalitarian organizations.
Does he consider black lives valuable? No, he does not. Prager has never met a black teenager or adult who’s death he didn’t approve of at the hands of the police. Like any decent , color-blind conservative, he trashed Trayvon Martin, Michael Brown, and Jacob Blake. He had no such condemnation for Brett Kavanaugh when he was accused of immoral behavior by Christine Ford – I wonder why. That was just a leftist smear. However, about the death of George Floyd, he had this to say:
“I mean, the more we know including George Floyd. The chances are miniscule that the knee on the side of the neck caused him to die. So the two premises of the issues that caused the protests and riots to begin with, is a lie. Or overwhelming likely to be a lie. He as not killed by the knee to the neck. ( The knee to the neck is a usual procedure in the Minneapolis police force… police department ). And we still have not established that he did it because the guy was black. If you see the entire video, he’s sort of hysterical from the beginning of his encounter with the police who were completely decent with him. He says he can’t breath before they touch him.”
So, according to Prager, the protests were based on a lie because it was his opinion that George Floyd didn’t really die from a knee on his wind pipe, and BLM is based on a lie because in his opinion – and the opinion of countless color-blind conservatives – that systemic racism is nothing more than a leftist myth, and the left are the real racists by complaining about racism all the time, because racism couldn’t possibly be real, especially after having a black man as president. What they really are – besides being racists themselves – is a fascist organization, and it’s so obvious because people are not allowed to say it, and the proof that they’re fascist – and racist – is because they screamed at some white people – because they’re white – who are having dinner. And that’s what makes them more racist than the KKK. Never mind all of the crosses they’ve burned on white people’s lawns, and never mind all the American cities they’ve burned completely to the ground, cities that have been left in smoldering ruins, some of them still burning as I write this.
And because a knee to the neck is a permitted procedure with the Minneapolis police when dealing with suspects who present an “imminent danger,” and the fact that Floyd complained of shortness of breath before the deadly encounter, meant that he was acting “hysterical,” according to Prager, all of which justified his death.
There are racist – and fascist – organizations in America that are far more comparable to the KKK. But they are not Black Lives Matter. They are not Antifa. They are not any leftist or liberal group that advocates for diversity, equality and inclusion. They are conservative groups and organizations that oppose equality, diversity and inclusion. They are a myriad of mainstream conservative anti-immigration organizations such as Judicial Watch, and VDARE. These groups are openly racist, and xenophobic. The only thing they are not doing is burning crosses.
For actual evidence of organizations that are much closer to the philosophy of the KKK, right-wing media is a perfect example. The great replacement conspiracy theory – a neo-Nazi belief that non-white immigrants are destroying western culture – has been appearing in mainstream conservative media for years.
From Business Insider, Sept. 07, 2020:
“Fox News is home to a near-constant stream of claims that America is being subjected to an immigrant “invasion.” Hosts and contributors, including Brian Kilmeade, Stuart Varney, Pete Hegseth, Tomi Lahren, and Mike Huckabee, have repeatedly fear-mongered about a supposed “invasion” of the United States’ southern border by migrants seeking asylum.
“The vitriolic talking point has become ubiquitous in Fox’s lineup; a Media Matters study last year found that Fox made over 70 on-air references to an invasion by migrants over the seven months leading to the El Paso mass shooting, in which the perpetrator said he was responding to a “Hispanic invasion of Texas.”
“In addition to the open racism of its “invasion” talking point, Fox News regularly pushes the claim that Americans are being replaced by immigrants in order to benefit Democrats at the ballot box. On the Ingraham Angle, Laura Ingraham warned in 2018 that “Democrats want to replace you, the American voters, with newly-amnestied citizens and an ever increasing number of chain migrants.” This May, Ingraham boosted an article from the white nationalist website VDARE that attempted to link immigration to coronavirus hotspots.”
Finally, I would argue that the Republican party is far more comparable to the KKK. It’s not conjecture, it’s not opinion, it’s not made up. It’s fact based on actual evidence.
It’s the party that denies the history of the south after the Civil War.
The history of the two parties after the Civil Rights Act.
The southern strategy – referring to it as a leftist myth.
Referring to the Democratic party as the “Plantation,” often accusing them of using welfare to get “the black vote.”
It’s the party that engages in voter suppression tactics to prevent black people from voting Democrat.
It’s the party that attacks and vilifies Black Lives Matter as “racists,” “fascists” and “terrorists” for daring to oppose white supremacy and police brutality.
It’s the party that demonizes black culture for it’s “out of control violence,” while conveniently ignoring the white culture of violence.
It’s the party that downplays police brutality and violence against black people.
It’s smug ass Republicans like Dennis Prager and his ilk who love to remind us that the Democratic party is still the “party of the KKK.”
If that’s the case, why have they been a Republican organization for decades now? Why do they vote Republican now? Why do they run for office on the Republican ticket? Why did they support Donald Trump? Why were they present at Charlottesville? They were not there to represent the Democratic party. It was a rally to unite the right.
If the Democrats are still the party of the KKK, why do so many Republicans defend and romanticize confederate symbols like the flag and statues of traitorous slave holders as “southern pride and heritage”? Is this a history worthy of being proud of?
If the Democrats are still the party of the KKK, why are Republicans so defensive about these symbols being removed?
And why did Prager U do a video in defense of slavery and why a statue of Robert E. Lee should remain?
Republicans – and Dennis Prager in particular – have no right to complain about racism when they perpetuate it. Just because there are black people in the party, doesn’t make it non-racist.
After the Capitol was stormed by MAGA morons fueled by Trump’s rhetoric of a stolen election, the big brained pseudo-intellectual host of the Ben Shapiro show reminded his viewers that Joe Biden’s “deeply divisive” response capped off a week that “has been so disappointing and horrifying in every way,” but it wouldn’t have been so bad if Biden hadn’t made that “divisive, emotional” response. That was even worse than what happened at the Capitol!
Ben was responding to Biden’s statement that the authorities handled the BLM protesters with more restraint than the Capitol rioters.
What Biden said
“They are not protesters. Don’t dare call them protesters. They were a riotous mob, insurrectionists, domestic terrorists. It’s that simple,” he said in Wilmington, Delaware to introduce nominees to lead the Justice department. “I wish we could have said we didn’t see it coming, but that’s not true. We could see it coming.
“No one can tell me if it had been a group of BLM protesting yesterday, that they wouldn’t have been treated very, very differently than the mob of thugs that stormed the Capitol. We all know that’s true, and it’s unacceptable.”
To any sane person who is familiar with the facts pertaining to both the Capitol riot and the BLM protests, it’s a reasonable assessment. It’s 100% factual. But according to Mr. “Facts Don’t Care About Your Feelings” and the conservative echo chamber, they want you to know that their feelings matter over the facts in this particular case. It’s actually the BLM protesters that were treated with more kindness; they were “coddled” as the NY Post has previously suggested, and there can be no unity in impeaching Trump and “lumping together anyone who voted for Trump, and the Capitol rioters.”
“You may have looked at the incident at the Capitol and seen a bunch of white people storming the Capitol – one of them getting shot – and you may have said to yourself, ‘look, it looks like the Capitol police are overwhelmed! I can’t believe they didn’t have enough people there. Looks like security protocols need to be overhauled. Or you can be an insane person and suggest this has something to do with systematic racism. Naturally, Joe Biden is going to do the latter.”
Shapiro actually said all of this. Is he aware that the majority of BLM are white? Does he even care? Whether he’s aware of it or not, he certainly doesn’t care. Like any conservative who claims to be anti-racist, he hears the term “Black Lives Matter” and to him it means “black lives matter more,” that it’s a race war against white people who are the real victims of racism perpetrated by BLM. The conservative victim complex never gets old.
According to Shapiro, the “entire media, the entire government, and cities around the country allowed BLM “free reign” in their cities. They painted the city streets. They paid homage… Mitt Romney was marching with BLM, for God sake.”
When “riots” broke out in cities across America this summer, “the media cheered.”
“The media suggested this was all just an outburst of passion because of systemic American racism, and now you’re saying this somehow about Capitol police being racist?” Shapiro said.
Shapiro continues with the alternate facts narrative that racial protesters were given the “kid glove” treatment by the Trump authorities, were “coddled,” “pampered, “given free reign to “paint city streets” – actually one street, in New York – when they were not busy “looting, rioting, murdering innocent bystanders, and ‘burning down entire cities,’ ” while the Capitol rioters were “met with deadly force” – one died, don’t forget; not one BLM protesters was killed by the police ( or a right-winger ), who somehow managed not to see it coming and found themselves outnumbered. There was no indication on social media that they were planning the riot. There was no indication from the president in what he was saying for months, nor was there any indication from members of Congress who repeated his bogus claims of a stolen election. It was completely spontaneous.
And let’s not forget, a right-wing conservative “marched with BLM!” That’s unthinkable! They were honored by everyone. Even right-wing media was totally supportive of the protests. No one said a mean thing about them, no one said anything derogatory. Fox News pundits never called them “rioters,” never called them “terrorists.” Liberals are delulusional, Shapiro would argue. And “the media cheered “riots” that just “broke out” for no reason. God knows it had nothing to do with racism, it had nothing to do with two separate incidents where police officers used unnecessary excessive force that resulted in the death of one man, and the paralyzing of another. The media – MSNBC, CNN, and other credible news media – made a point of these facts many times. Other news media – with little or no credibility – made up their own narratives around these two cases.
The false narratives were that the BLM protesters were all “thugs, terrorists;” they weren’t really protests but “riots” “fed by a false narrative of systemic racism and police brutality against black people” from the “liberal mainstream media; BLM is not about racial justice, it’s really about “Marxists that want to overthrow democracy, a “race war against cops and white people and want them all dead;” every protester is on George Soros’ personal payroll; George Floyd didn’t really die as a result of a knee on his neck, but fentanyl overdose; Breonna Taylor was involved in a drug ring, and Jacob Blake – who had no weapon on him – was a threat to the police officer(s) who shot him in the back, and it was justified because he had a past record.
The BLM protests or “riots” didn’t break out in a “burst of sudden passion.” They were sparked by the unjustified deaths of George Floyd, and the shooting of Jacob Blake. They were sparked by the fact that none of these officers received any harsh discipline for these people they murdered. Derek Chauvin was recently released on a $1M bond pending trial. If he had been a poor black man, he would be rotting in prison for the rest of his life.
I saw the BLM protests as they happened. They were met with fifty times more lethal force. I didn’t see any protesters being coddled or given “free reign” to do as they pleased. I saw thousands who were brutalized, maced, pepper sprayed, beaten, run over – by both police and anti-BLM thugs – and shot – also by both police and anti-BLM thugs. Fact, not fiction. But according to right-wing media, the police were the victims of all the violence.
I also saw the violence at the Capitol as it happened. I saw far less lethal force used on those actual rioters. I saw instances of police showing restraint, allowing rioters to get past barricades, and through doors with little or no resistance, I saw police standing around with rioters inside the Capitol, some even taking selfies with them. I didn’t see any of this during the BLM protests. And yet the nonsense persists that BLM was met with no resistance or pushback, is BS. It’s also BS that no one could have seen this coming. All the signs were there on social media, from Trump himself and his cohorts in Congress. And anyone who believes the Capitol police were somehow “overwhelmed,” and couldn’t see it coming, and that BLM were allowed to rampage across America “burning down cities and murdering innocent, law-abiding citizens,” are delusional dips***s who have been propagandized by the likes of Fox News.
“There is no logic to the Democrats’ response to the riot,” Shapiro says. Is he talking about their response to the BLM protests, or the actual riot at the Capitol? If the BLM protests, he’s full of s**t. If the Capitol riot, he’s still full of s**t.
“The entire thing is a divisive, emotional appeal designed to suggest that everybody who supports Trump, and supported Trump back during the election cycle, no matter what he did over the subsequent two months… and no matter whether you think the people who breached the Capitol are idiots and criminals, no matter what you do, no matter what you said, you are complicit.”
If you voted for Trump, you voted for his policies, his behavior, his divisiveness, so yes, you are are partially complicit, and it doesn’t matter if you were there or not, or thought they were idiots or not. Not one conservative pundit pushed back on his election fraud lies, not a single one, not even Ben Shapiro.
Joe Biden’s response was completely logical. He said nothing about the police response at the Capitol having anything to do with racism. He was merely stating a fact that BLM protesters who were protesting for a legitimate cause, were treated far, far worse than the rioters at the Capitol, who were only there for one reason – they were worked into a frenzy by the lies of Donald Trump, his media sycophants, and his sycophants in Congress who repeated his false claims and lies of election fraud.
Conservatives don’t get to complain about anyone lumping Trump supporters with the Capitol Hill rioters. They were Trump supporters. Conservatives don’t get to complain that Trump has no connection to neo-Nazis, to white nationalists, to neo-Confederates. Millions of these people voted for Trump. They were present at Charlottesville. They were present at his rallies, and they were present at the Capitol Hill Riot.
The entire right-wing media structure – Fox News, Newsmax, OANN, Townhall, World Net Daily, including Ben Shapiro and his little butt- buddies at the Daily Wire – and anyone who pushed the bogus claims of election fraud, and are defending the Capitol siege – are anti-democracy, and as un-American as you can get. They can no longer be taken seriously when they claim it’s the left that hates democracy. They literally stormed the f***ing Capitol to interfere in a democratic election!
To paraphrase Vaush in his video, Ben Shapiro Doesn’t Get To Complain About Nazis, “Neo-Nazism is a plague, a mental illness, and Ben Shapiro and conservative Inc. are directly responsible for propagating their exitence. They aid them; they abet them. They propagate their dogma. They play cover for their propaganda havens on social media platforms. They do nothing to meaningfully challenge their talking points. They believe and propagate many of the same talking points and the things they believe.”
The idea that conservatives like Shapiro have any interest in “unity,” is a f***ing joke. For the past twelve years they have done nothing but encourage and promote division and hatred: using the race card against Obama for the entirety of his presidency – the birther movement; Jeremiah Wright; police shootings; Michael Brown; Trayvon Martin; Dr. Gates arrest; BLM; ebola, the list goes on – and then having the audacity of saying he was divisive.
Ben Shapiro is full of s**t. Conservatives had their chance at unity by accepting the results of the election, but instead chose to lie and invent conspiracies of a “stolen election,” that led to an assault on the Capitol. F**k their calls for unity. And f**k Ben Shapiro.
When the Supreme Court rejected the Texas lawsuit to “nullify every vote cast in Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin, and direct the legislatures of each state to appoint their electors to Donald Trump,” Republican supporters of Donald Trump donned their adult diapers and shit themselves into a temper tantrum.
Some of them have suggested suspending the Constitution in key states where the Trump team has contested that the votes were too close to call and do a recount. Michael Flynn, Virginia state Senator Amanda Chase, and the My Pillow guy, Mike Lindell, are just a few who have suggested Emperor Trump declare martial law.
After the Texas lawsuit was dismissed, Allen West, the state’s GOP Clownchairman, issued an unhinged statement:
Despite the increasing insanity in the Republican party and it’s media apparatus, not all of them have been eager to ride the crazy Train To Trump Town.
After West released his statement, Representative Adam Kinzinger tweeted:
“I believe @TexasGOP should immediately retract this, apologize , and fire Allen West and anyone else associated with this. My guy, Abraham Lincoln and the Union soldiers already told you no.”
Democratic Senator Brian Schatz tweeted:
“The Texas Republican party is in favor of leaving the Union. They have lost their minds. Biden will be president, but these people are deadly serious about secession and sedition. And this is the only question that media should ask any elected Republican tomorrow.”
Conservative media figures have also been talking about secession. Rush Limburger said recently on his radio show that “the country has been trending toward secession.” Rush, as always, is full of shit. Only the crazies have been calling for it. “It can’t go on this way,” he said. “There cannot be a peaceful co-existence of two two completely different theories of life, theories of government, theories about how we manage our affairs. We cannot be in this dire a conflict without something giving along the way.”
In a way he’s right. There is no peaceful co-existence between the left and the right. The right – and when I say “the right” that goes not only for the so-called alt right, but the mainstream conservative right, both of which share many of the same beliefs – is completely unreasonable and unhinged. They love reminding us that the Democratic party is still the party of the KKK, often employing racial rhetoric such as “slavery” and “plantation” in regards to government programs that alleviate poverty; they are far more conspiratorial than anything that exists on the left, such as Benghazi, and the countless anti-Obama conspiracies that “supposedly” had nothing to do with his race or name, but rather with his – completely fabricated – “radical Marxist policies and ideology” like Obamacare.
Texas state Representative Kyle Biedermann wrote on his Facebook page,”That is why I am committing to file legislation this session that will allow a referendum to give Texans a vote for the state of Texas to reassert it’s status as an independent nation.”
The “We The People Convention” a Tea Party affiliated group took out a full-page ad in the Washington Times also urging Trump to suspend the Constitution. I won’t go through most of the article, but to highlight some of the bullshit it contains:
“We have well-funded, armed and trained Marxists in ANTIFA and BLM strategically positioned in our major cities acting openly with violence to silence opposition to their anti-American agenda. Attacking federal buildings and police, cowardly punching innocent people in the back of the head, assaulting people just eating in restaurants, and burning minority-owned businesses to the ground…
“Then there are admitted Democrat/Socialist federal officials plotting to finish hitting the US Constitution after 100 years of trying. They promise to take away critical individual rights like free speech, religious freedom, and the second amendment; destroy states rights by eliminating the electoral college and more, pack the Supreme Court with activist anti-Constitutional judges who will make law from the bench; give the right to vote to tens of millions of non-Americans; and open borders to more illegals which will reduce wages…
“Not only do we have a corrupt media like in Lincoln’s day, we have a new and more sinister form of media in Big Tech, actively censoring free speech and promoting leftist propaganda to blind our citizens to their real goals and the real consequences of their actions – the end of America as we have known it.”
Regarding Antifa and Black Lives Matter: they are neither terrorists, nor Marxists. They are two different entities that right-wing media and Republicans have smeared as anti-American. If you really want to see who is anti-American, anti-liberty, look no further than the Republican party – especially under Donald “Abraham Lincoln” Trump – and its media apparatus – Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN.
Antifa simply stands for anti-fascist. I’ve explained this before and I will explain it again and keep repeating it: it is not an organization of black clad terrorists who have offices and chapters in every city. It’s not a group that can be joined, or that recruits members. It is college kids and young activists who show up to disrupt the activities of fascists and neo-Nazis. The assertion that Antifa are the real fascists, is particularly telling. Conservatives have made this absurd claim because they are not willing to admit that they themselves are fascists. By claiming that Antifa – who are anti-fascist – are the actual fascists, the right can justify their own violence. Which is what they have been doing since the beginning of the Trump presidency.
Furthermore, the assertion that they are “well-funded, armed and trained Marxists strategically positioned in major cities to carry out violence, and are burning down cities,” is also laughable. Only the most ill-iniformed Fox News, Newsmax watching Doofus who has been propagandized to believe George Soros is the puppet master behind everything, would believe it. Who are the real terrorists? If you want to see real terrorists, look no further than the Proud Boys, who are Trump supporters. These clowns actually do arm themselves and do terrorize and assault people who don’t support Trump. They were doing just that during the Million MAGA Moron March. But right-wing media, true to form, portrayed Trump supporters as the victims of leftist violence.
As for Black Lives Matter, they are neither terrorists, nor Marxists. Anything or anyone conservatives don’t like they brand as Marxists and communists, which tells you where they stand – with fascism. They’ve labeled the entire Democrat party – a party of corporate centrists – as radical Marxist communists that want to eliminate free speech, individual rights, religious freedom and the second amendment, which is also absurd. Who really wants to curb free speech?… https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2017/02/24/republican-lawmakers-introduce-bills-to-curb-protesting-in-at-least-17-states/ Look no further than the party of law and order. There isn’t one Democrat calling for any of those things. Nor have they advocated for stacking the SC with radical leftist judges – Republicans already did that, with real radicals – and they have never advocated for the right of illegal immigrants to vote.
The ad ends with this ironic gem of hypocrisy:
“You ( addressing Trump here ) must also act, like Lincoln did, to silence the destructive media’s one-sided propaganda designed and proven to influence the election outcome, and end the unlawful censorship of Big Tech, to restore the confidence of the American people in our electoral process or we cannot continue as a nation. Failure to do so could result in massive violence on a level not seen since the Civil War. Limitless martial law is clearly a better option than Civil War!”
Not only are these clowns calling for suspending the Constitution for a re-count of votes in an election that Trump clearly lost, but silencing any media that doesn’t kiss his narcissistic ego and delusions of grandeur, and a civil war if they don’t get what they want!
The irony of accusing the left of being hostile to democracy, free speech, religious liberty, and the Constitution, goes right over their heads.
Vice recently reported that MAGA Thugs are attempting to infiltrate polling stations to intimidate Democratic voters who don’t vote for America’s most oppressed presidential candidate who just can’t catch a fair break.
Unhinged members of a Trump message board called The Donald.win believe they have the right to threaten and intimidate anyone who doesn’t vote for Saint Donald The Divine, their favorite patron saint, who watches over white supremacists and Nazis from his lofty perch in the heavens.
“Consider this polling station on “LOCKDOWN,” someone who goes by the handle utahbeachballs1944 allegedly posted earlier this week, along with a South Carolina poll manager’s handbook.
Apparently he was responding to comments from other users, adding, “my polling place is gonna be like trying to enter North Korea. Fucking LOCKED DOWN,” further adding, “I will be honoring the BLM movement in Blackface.”
None of this should come as a surprise to anyone who has been paying attention to a president who has contempt for democracy, who has for months called for voter intimidation and accusing the Democrats of voter fraud simply for advocating voting by mail, which is not unconstitutional as Republicans love to claim it is.
At last month’s debate Trump said he was urging his supporters to “go into the polls to watch very closely because that’s what has to be done.”
The Trump campaign has a new website by the name of Army For Trump, recruiting for election operations.
“We all know the Democrats will be up to their old dirty tricks, ” Evin Perrine, Trump’s reelection director of press communications claimed in a video encouraging others to sign up, which is ironic since Republicans are usually the ones caught with their hands in the cookie jar when it comes to preventing people from voting, including purging voter rolls, enacting voter ID laws, attempting to criminalize voter registration drives, Felony disenfranchisement, intimidation of minority voters, and election security claims. Some of these tactics have already been pushed and continue to be pushed by Republicans.
“Bring your weapons and prepare for a fight,” one MAGA thug wrote in response to a post that claimed BLM and Antifa would show up outside polling sites in every city. “If they’re guarding the polling station, get a militia together.”
The site’s administrators, who remain anonymous – no surprise – responded to their concerns for disrupting polling stations:
“The left has made it blatantly obvious that they plan on cheating in the general. The only thing they care about is power and they will do anything to obtain it. We are trying to change the things we don’t like, at the ballot box.”
How have they made it clear? What have they said or done to make it obvious they intend to cheat? By intending to vote by mail? By encouraging everyone to vote, including minorities? By criticizing a president who has accused his political opponents of cheating when he’s the one who is trying to cheat?
I guarantee he couldn’t come up with a plausible answer when pressed. He would probably repeat the same talking point that is programmed into the brain of every Republican through repeated propaganda, the one about massive voter fraud that Democrats are allegedly guilty of – which has yet to be proven to be true.
The claim that Democrats and the left plan to cheat in the election is hilarious, since it’s Donald Trump who is currently attacking the right to vote by mail, and his supporters who are attacking the right to vote through intimidation, by showing up armed at polling stations, and a president who has implied that he will not accept a fair election result if he loses.
Fox News contributor and doofus, Rachel Campost-Duffy, appeared recently on Fox And Friends to complain about how mean the mainstream media was to Trump, during and after the first debate, while giving Sleepy Joe a pass.
“Trump can be very charming. And I don’t think he brought that to the table. He can be funny too,” she continued. “But he didn’t bring that to the debate either. And I think that would have helped him with suburban moms…”
( Especially if he intended to grab them by the p****es to get their votes ).
“He can come off as very combative. It’s understandable why he does that at times. But I think he could have brought that funny, charming side as well that would have helped him.
“I do think on the topic of law and order, you know, Biden never said and never denounced Antifa or Black Lives Matter. And I know that Chris Wallace talked about Trump denouncing white supremacists, but all summer long I didn’t see white supremacists, you know, burning down businesses and causing violence and the destruction that has so upset so many Americans, destroyed so many Americans, so many lives. And so, again, this shows exactly what David is saying, that he is beholden to the left. He just cannot say BLM and Antifa burn down cities and that is bad. And that is weird to a lot of Americans. They are like, why can’t you denounce what is so obviously wrong?”
( First of all, the claim that Biden has never denounced Antifa, or the violence that occured during the protests – both are verifiably false. Biden’s tweet from August 30 condradicts this falsehood:
“The deadly violence we saw overnight in Portland is unacceptable. Shooting in the streets of a great American city is unacceptable. I condemn violence of every kind by anyone, whether on the left or the right. And I challenge Donald Trump to do thesame.”
< From Reuters.com >
( In the days following the death of George Floyd in police custody, Joe Biden wrote on his blog –
( “Protesting such brutality is right and necessary. It’s an American response. Burning down communities and needless destruction is not. Violence that endangers lives is not.”)
( When asked by a reporter by the name of Barbara Barr if he condemns Antifa, Biden told her, “Yes, I do – violence no matter who it is.”)
( Campost-Duffy’s claim that Biden has never denounced Antifa, is rated bulls***. Trump, on the other hand, has never condemned the violence of his supporters. When prompted to do so, he has always deflected by denouncing Antifa and Black Lives Matter as terrorists, two entities that may be guilty of nothing more than property damage at most. Trump supporters are guilty of more than property damage. Trump supporters have killed and have conspired to commit actual terrorist activities against Democrats since Trump became president.
( Duffy says she saw violence that wasn’t caused by white supremacists, militia groups. Here, she is talking about instances of property damage, which in the minds of right-winger’s, is somehow worse than murder. The claim that whole cities and communities have been burned down, is laughably absurd. Right-wing media has repeatedly aired images of one or two burning buildings to make it seem as if entire cities and communities were being destroyed. These instances of burning and looting have been most likely the result of frustrated citizens – and right-wing agitators – with no connection to Antifa or Black Lives Matter.
( She makes no mention of the armed right-wing extremists who showed up to harass and intimidate, and in some instances even killed BLM protesters, such as the shooting by Kyle Rittenhouse, whom conservatives defended as a heroic patriot. She also failed to mention the numerous incidents of police violence against peaceful protesters. Not to mention the politicians who were pepper sprayed, the child that was maced in the eyes by a police officer – after the video was taken, Seattle police arrested the person who filmed it – and the journalists that were brutalized, and arrested for doing their jobs.
( As for Joe Biden being controlled or “beholden” to the radical left – is poppy cock. The left despises Joe Biden. He is no more than a conservative disguised as a Democrat. Anyone who is even moderately informed about politics, knows this. Duffy either knows this, is not informed enough to know it, or is just being disingenous. Conservatives know that their audiences put their feelings over facts and will believe anything they are told. Where Duffy falls on this, I’m leaning toward the conclusion that she’s not too bright. And as for Joe Biden denouncing Antifa, he’s under no obligation, nor is he required to do so, since Antifa despises the Democratic party as much as they despise Republicans. He does not have their support nor the enthusiasm as the Nazis and white supremacists have of Donald Trump.
( To disavow and condemn Black Lives Matter is political suicide. BLM is a movement that fights for equality, an end to police violence, and systemic racism. It’s not a race war against white people or law enforcement. Those who disavow and condemn it as violent, as racist, as terroristic, are typically racist themselves, and are only interested in advancing the narrative that Black people are inherently more violent, hence the black on black crime narrative, not to mention the equally bogus narrative of black on white violence that Nazis and white supremacists love to perpetuate on their online forums. BLM may have some problems, but none of them are the aforementioned.
“I want to get back to Antifa. He ( Biden ) said Antifa is an idea and Donald Trump said yeah, until a bat hits you over the head. Antifa is not an idea. Antifa is an organization and so is BLM. They are funded by corporations, they are funded by left-wingers. His own staffers , Biden staffers and Kamala Harris herself helped to bail out many of these people who caused the violence and even some of the killings.”
( Again, not true. Conservatives talk about Antifa as if it’s an organization of black dressed terrorists who go around intimidating, threatenng, and murdering innocent law abiding citizens. Many of them actually believe this. They’re confused. This is what Trump supporters do. Charlottesville, Christchurch, El Paso, Tree Of Life, etc. Antifa is not an organized movement that anyone can join in membership. They are nothing more than college kids who oppose fascism and racism – are not funded by George Soros or other leftist groups – and who sometimes show up at far right rallies to intimidate Alt right groups that are highly organized and well funded.
( There has been no evidence to suggest that any of the protesters arrested were aligned with Antifa, or that Kamala Harris or Joe Biden bailed any of them out. This is disinformation that is found only on right-wing blogs and websites that are not interested in factual information.
( Conservatives just cannot bring themselves to say that Black Lives Matter is a legitimate civil rights movement with legitimate grievances. They just cannot bring themselves to admit that Antifa is not a terrorist organization. They just cannot bring themselves to admit that law enforcement as a whole is corrupt and out of control and should be reformed. Conservatives just cannot admit that by defending police corruption and by defending and justifying the death of a black man – by digging into his past – shot in the back seven times, is indefensible and racist.
And that is disingenuous, especially coming from those who claim it’s really the left and Democrats that are racist, by trotting out the same talking points to deflect from any accusations of racism: ‘Well, it was the Democrats that started the KKK’ – which is false – which means they’re the same party they were sixty, seventy years ago; and ‘Democrats are keeping black people complacent on the Democratic plantation with welfare and food stamps.’ And then they will contradict themselves when defending police violence against black people by repeating: ‘Why don’t black people and Black Lives Matter talk about the epidemic of black on black crime?’ Which is also false.
And that’s really weird to leftists. We’re like, why can’t they just admit when they’re wrong and full of shit?
