A week ago the Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted a search of former president Trump’s Mar-A-Lago residence for alleged confidential documents. Apparently they found more than they were looking for, removing more than a few boxes. Since the search, the former president’s supporters in media have been melting down, using every whataboutism to deflect from the fact that the feds had probable cause to search Trump’s residence.
What about Hillary? What about Benghazi. What about Hunter Biden? They would rather do anything else other than discuss the issue that Trump did something wrong, possibly broke the law, and should be held accountable.
Yesterday, Trump told Fox News that he was willing to do whatever he could to “help the country.”
“This country is in a very dangerous position,” he said. “There is tremendous anger, like I’ve never seen before, over all of the scams, and this new one – years of scams and witch hunts, and now this. There has never been a time like this where law enforcement has been used to break into the house of a former president of the United States. And there is tremendous anger in the country – at a level that has never been seen before, other than during very perilous times. I’ve never seen anything like it. It is a very dangerous time for our country.
The former president has also alleged that his team has contacted the DOJ to offer assistance. The DOJ has yet to respond.
Reflecting on how the mainstream media allegedly vilified him with fake scandal after fake scandal, he said,”Nothing happens to those people who perpetuate that – nothing happens with them.”
“And then they break into a president’s house – a sneak attack where it was totally – no one ever thought a thing like this would happen…
“People are so angry at what is taking place. Whatever we can do to help – because the temperature has to be brought down in the country. If it isn’t, terrible things are going to happen. The people of this country are not going to stand for another scam.”
The only people angry that Trump has been targeted by the Feds for investigation, are his sycophants who believe he is above the law, who believe he should never be held accountable for anything he does. And at least two that I am aware of, have acted upon that anger.
